Repeat Prescriptions
Please allow at least 48hrs for your prescription. We do not take prescription requests over the phone or via email.
If your doctor prescribes medication that you’ll be taking on a regular basis, this can be requested as an ongoing repeat prescription.
This means that the doctor has given permission for you to be given this prescription in the future, without first having to make an appointment with them. It is valid for a specified quantity of repeat requests.
The NHS app is a great way of having your medical records and services on your phone or computer! You can easily order repeat medications on the app or on the website.

To order your repeat prescription, please use an online access service provider, such as the NHS app. This will put a request through to us - please note, there is sometimes a delay of 24hrs.
If you do not have online access to your medical records, you can request medication via your nominated pharmacy. They will send the request to us.
Alternatively, you can complete a repeat prescription request form that we have in reception.
Prescription requests will not be taken over the phone or via email, as serious mistakes can occur.
Please do not use the email address for clinical or advice questions under any circumstances. This account is not supervised by clinical staff.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
